OUR COMMITMENT TO YOUR PRIVACY
EFFECTIVE DATE: AUGUST 19, 2011
We are committed to protecting your privacy. That is why we have adopted this Privacy Policy, which is part of our Terms. It is intended to describe how we use and process your personal information. Please note that by visiting and using the Features (as defined in the Terms), you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy, which is between 2 Cubed, Inc., a California corporation doing business as "Gamer's Gold" and its owners, directors, officers, agents, employees, and representatives ("Gamer's Gold", "us", "we", "our") and you ("you", "your") and governs your use of the website located at www.gamersgold.com (the "Website"), your Website membership, if applicable, and your download and use of the tracking software (the "Software"), if applicable (collectively, the "Features").
What information are we gathering about you and how is it being used?
Every computer connected to the Internet is provided with a domain name (e.g., earthlink.net) and an IP address (e.g., 192.168.1.100). When your web browser requests a page from our Website, our web servers automatically identify and log the HTTP request that is made to them, as follows:
- The IP address of the site that may have referred you.
- Your IP Address.
- The domain name and/or web page from which you linked to us;
- The product identifier for version and make of browser (e.g. Internet Explorer 9.0).
- The computer operating system that you are running (e.g. Mac OS, Windows, Linux).
- Search words or terms that are passed from a search engine (e.g. Google, Yahoo, or Bing).
There is nothing unusual, in our view, about the information just described, and the practice of collecting this data has been generally standardized by many web servers today. We may use this information primarily to track the use of the Website and other Features and to assist us in providing, maintaining, evaluating, and improving the Website and the Features, and for general marketing purposes.
In the case of a breach or suspected breach of our Terms, or investigation by us or by law enforcement regarding this or any other matter, we may also use this information to identify you and your actions.
What about cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are transferred to your computer's hard drive through your web browser from our web server. We use cookies in some situations as a means of providing personalization features to our visitors. For example, we may use cookies to remember personal settings (such as a user name or password) that you may have chosen at our Website.
You can choose whether or not to accept cookies by changing the settings of your browser. Typically, by accessing the browsers help feature you can obtain information on how to prevent your browser from accepting all cookies or to notify you when a cookie is being set. If you choose not to accept our cookies, your experience at our Website and other websites you may visit may be diminished and some features may not work as intended.
What other information do you request?
We may also request your personal information such as your name, address, email address, street and/or mailing address, phone number, age, or Twitter or Facebook user name for the purpose(s) of conducting a survey, entering a sweepstakes or promotion, adding you to our mailing list, or by your request to have someone contact you for additional information. Whenever we request your identity, we strive to clearly indicate the purpose of the inquiry before the information is requested. We will not sell, rent, or otherwise give your email address to a third party without your consent.
Additionally, if you have a membership account, we may also request your credit or debit card information, as well as demographic information, and we may use your IP address or username and password to track your usage patterns, including login dates, times, durations, frequencies, and the amount of time and type or identity of games played or actions taken using the Software or Website, as well as what types of browser, computer, and operating system you use.
Will we disclose the information collected to third parties?
We will disclose your personal information or any of its log file information when required by law or in the good-faith belief that such actions are necessary to:
- Operate our Website and other Features (e.g., to our Internet service providers, accountants, attorneys, programmers, designers, and marketing consultants and service providers);

- Protect and defend the rights or property of our own and our users;

We may also disclose non-personal information, in aggregate form, to potential strategic partners, advertisers, investors, users, and others.
Do you request or accept information from children?

If you are between the ages of 13 and 17, you may open a Bronze membership account, but must be 18 years of age or older to open or upgrade to a Silver, Gold, or Platinum membership account.
How do you keep my information secure?
We use reasonable precautions to keep the information disclosed to us secure; however, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information. It is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy prior to your use of any of the Features and from time to time, and to discontinue use of the Features if you do not agree with any of them.
What if I disagree with or have a dispute regarding these policies?
